It's been an entire week since my last entry. School really does ruin your life...or at least your xanga site. Nothing is really new. Right now I'm working on my huge history paper.  I'm hoping I did ok on my math test on thursday. I'm also trying to get up the guts to talk to this hottie that has my free period.  I've never liked anyone at school before this so it really new to me to actually be excited to see this guy several times a day.

Last night I saw my best friend Emilee for the first time since school got out last year. It was a blast. Her parents were out of town and eight of us were chilling at her house and spent the night. kaluha + rootbeer= best new drink combination ever. and if you ever make jello shots don't use 100% vodka instead of water...much better to do 50/50. Anyway we stayed up all night and around 5 AM tried to all fall asleep in the same bed. That was about the worst idea ever and around 6 AM Emilee, Collin, and I decided to go into a different bed to try and sleep. We managed to until about 10 AM when everyone else came in with tortillas, peanutbutter, and protein cereal. It was the best breakfast of my life.

Tonite should be equally interesting; its Rebeccas 16th bday and we are doing Rocky Horrer at midnight. I've never been before, but the three of us going are getting all dressed up and it should be fun.

So yeah, things are a little crazy, but fun. I'm not practicing piano as much as I should be and I'm already slacking on homework, but I'm just so happy not to be a freshman anymore and that life is fun that I don't really care. Oh, and on Sept 6th I get my permit! xoxo Julia

I'm not very thrilled with the amounts of comments I'm getting.  If you have some advice on how I can meet more people on xanga and get more comments, let me know!!

So, its the weekend now. Yesterday was fun. I'll start at school: everyone was freaking out because the cast for the school play was posted yesterday.  My good friend Emily got the lead woman, Jo, in A Few Good Men. James found out inbetween fifth and sixth period and came running into English class and yelled: "Julia! She got it!" and we both screamed. Everyone else asked "who, who?" because at our school theatre is really hot and everyone tries out for the plays and its a really big deal to get into the productions. Anyway we told everyone it was Emily and one girl actually started crying because she had wanted the lead so badly. After school, James and I found Emily and Patrick and we all hugged. Very nice.

But, anyway, things quickly deteriorated after that because I didn't have a ride home from school. So I call Randy and beg him for a ride. He agrees and comes and picks me up and we go back to my house. I get changed and all ready for a fun filled Friday night, and then we go to chill at Foothills mall because Randy wanted to go to a card show. After that, we went to Brandans house, switched into Brandans car (which happens to be a pimp 69 charger) and drove to Applebees. We had dinner. Then, Randy and Brandan wanted to meet this girl for the first time, Erica, whom Randy had met online. So we drive down to the U of A and meet her outside her dorm......and she's fat and ugly. We manage to bail on her at the party she took us too. Then we left and went back to Brandan's house. We just hung out, so it was fun times.

Then, today I had the following conversation with my friend Arin: (I swear to god I'm not kidding)

Arin: hey how come we never hang out anymore?   Me: cause you were gone for about five month this summer.                                                        Arin: thats such a weak excuse.                        Me: ok so lets hang out.                                   Arin: ok.                                                          Me: what should we do?                                    Arin: well, we should do something fun.                Me: whats fun?                                               Arin: i dont know.                                              Me:this always happens.                                  Arin: this sucks.                                               (long pause)                                                 Me: yeah.                                                    (long pause)                                              Arin: at least we tried to hang out.                    Me: your giving up?                                        Arin: yeah i gotta go.                                        Me: bye.                                                       Arin: see ya.

is that not the most pathetic thing of all time? acutally its quite amusing. and please, leave comments. jo is the only one who commented on my last entry!!

I just got back from school.  Just like any other Monday. Met Rebecca, Larry, Emily, and Patrick before classes began. Rebecca was slapping Larry and quite upset due to the fact that he was being an ass, and Emily and Patrick were contemplating the fact that next week is there 1 year anniversary.  God, I need a boy friend.

For our English project, we had to make a collage of the perfect man. A lot of people surprisingly had pictures of Paul McCartney, Jim Morrison, and Eric Clapton...but even more surprisingly was the fact that people had pictures of 50 cent and Eminem. Honestly, that is going too far. What basis do they have for that? Ugh.

I reached page 150 in The Beatles Anthology...woo hoo!  Reading that thing cover to cover baby.

CD I'm listening to right now: "Nevermind"-Nirvana

My brother is currently molesting my cat, Chumley. My sister is doing homework like the good kid she is. Mother is on the phone trying to figure out why we are still getting billed for cable at the old house when we've been living in the new house for over a month. Randy is talking to me online, and soon I will call Reid to say hello to the kid.

Oh, and I'm joining the conservative club at school which is really not that cool at all and Reid is freaking out by now if he is reading this. But what the hell, it will be funny and James is doing it with me. In four weeks we are having an affirmative action bake sale where we sell cookies for $1 to white kids but for 50 cents to minorities. Funny times. Of course all the white kids will just get their Hispanic friends to load up on the brownies, but that's besides the point.

Diet Coke rocks, and Andy Roddick won the tournament yesterday and is going to win the US Open!! xoxo Julia

It's been a long time since I last posted because Xanga was being dumb and wouldn't let me access it.  But finally I'm back!

School started last Wed.  I got all the classes I want.  I begin at 8:00 in the morning with precalc/calc A and I honestly can't think of a worse way to start the day. But then it's on to western civ with my hot 23 year old teacher Mr. Lambert, so things get much better. So after that is weight training...easy class except I hate getting sweaty first thing in the morning. I got third period free along with Caiti, Rebecca, Monet, Erica, Sean, and Ryan so we just chill. It's cool because then I have first lunch, and so do Rebecca, Emily, James, and Melanie.  Usually I get the 2$ special of the day which includes the salad bar, a drink, and a main course of something along the lines of a hamburger, macaroni, tacos, hot dogs...whatever.

So, then onto my after lunch classes. First I got chem with the most boring woman on the face of the earth who I'm sure will go through a middle age crisis sometime during class.  Then its on to French with an old swiss lady who can't really speak English. It's ok though because she has this weird communist point grading system where everything is assigned a certain amount of points and theres only one big category for homework, tests, quizzes, oral presentations, listening, etc. Weird. And to finish the day we got some writing and lit with a woman whose name is Hedwig Mulkey. I'm not even joking. How can I possibly take her seriously? Oh well.

So that is my riveting schedule. Could be worse, I guess. Today I hung out with Rebecca. We spent the day at Boarders...we are obssessed with that place!! We choose out like 5 or 6 books and a couple magazines, get extra large bananna strawberry smoothies, bagels, cookies, and sandwhiches, and sit around reading, talking, writing, listening to music and eating for hours. I feel so artsy and cultured now. I read 30 pages of The Beatles Anthology, the first couple chapters of The Life of Pi, Cosmopolitan from cover to cover, and the beginning of Atonement by Ian McEwan.

Now I'm doing a school project: making a collage of the perfect man. Weeeiiirrrddd.  But what can you expect from a teacher named Hedwig??  More later. xoxo Julia

Registered for school yesterday. Ech. Got my schedule, took the year book pic, got my ID card, collected all of my text books, got a locker. Back to the long miserable drag of school. I got five days of freedom left though so gotta make the most of it.

Last night James and I went to Emily's play, The Leramie Project. Pretty intense stuff. It's based on the Matthew Shepard story but was more of a gay hate violence awareness play. The best part was getting icecream afterwards.

Yeah, so. Some wise dude once told me that if you're depressed you should listen to depressing music because you can relate to it so completely. Following this advice; listening to You Know You're Right.

I guess on a brighter note, mother dearest said she would drive me to Phx so I could go to Edgefest! Exciting stuff. My next question is why aren't there any good concerts in Tucson? Makes me sad.

What also makes me sad is the fact that there is no food in this house. Also I don't have a car for a few more months so I therefore cannot drive down the the Einstein Bagles that is only 5 minutes away by car. I guess I will starve.  Oh, this reminds me:

Yeah, so this is what happens when you go to NAU music camp and are forced to eat cafeteria food. You end up eating a plate which conatins a handful of plain white rice. Pretty scary.  Still its the best camp in the world though and everyone should go.

Alright time to go call Randy. Oh, and if you don't think that Randy should quit his job at IHOP because he is an excellent server, please leave a comment telling him not to quit or else IHOP might loose a quality empolyee. This is important and he needs your support. Thankyou. xoxo Julia
